Selfcare is the catalyst for Happiness

What is the reason we find ourselves so unhappy and so unhealthy in today's society?
Most often it can be traced back to lack of selfcare.
Sometimes we are not even meeting our basic needs, let alone some of our deeper needs that lead us to a truly satisfying life.
Poor diet, poor exercise, poor sleep, no stress management, no relaxation, no enjoyment, constant striving all lead to break down. Mental, emotional, physical and relational.
So how do we begin to change this?
The first step is understanding the solution.
We are given one body to navigate this life time with and the way in which we care for it is the greatest determining factor of how long we will enjoy it. In order to create health and balance in our Beings and our lives we must learn to find joy and purpose in all that we do.
This includes our selfcare practice, which consist of meeting our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual needs, daily. This can seem like a big task!!
However, we can be successful when we create a practice that easily fits into our schedule, supports our well being and that we enjoy and look forward to.
Meeting these three criteria makes it most likely that we will keep up our practice, rather than let it fall to the way side when we are tired or busy.
With this in mind, I offer what I call Creating Your Practice, it's a 4 week series that helps you to gather new tools and implement a daily practice that supports your overall well being.
